Frida's Self Portraits

Frida's Self Portraits

Frida painted an estimated 70+ self portraits during her lifetime. She said, "I paint self portraits because I am so often alone. Because I am the subject I know best." Nearly all of her portraits reflected her physical injuries that resulted from the bus accident.
